Young girl revered as a goddess in Nepal, The Kumari is also a great garage-rock band from England. Since 2013 they did three excellent singles on different labels from Europe (Lost In Tyme, Heavy Soul, Hey Girl!).
Their last single (Walking b/w Beam) is out these days on Croque Macadam (Les Spadassins, Young Sinclairs, Triptides etc.). It's a perfect combination of 60s psych, folk-rock, garage and Paisley Underground. It has that great guitar tone, that knack for memorable melodies highlighted by a dynamic sound.
For fans of : The Rain Parade, The Byrds, Allah-Las, The Optic Nerve, The Young Sinclairs
Awesome psych/garage/neo-psychedelia album. From the first beat you want to freak out and shake like crazy from your head to your feet or swing dreamily.Perfectly defined drums and super cool guitar melodies, brilliantly mixed. bea Frost
